Speakers

Andrea Hetherington

A writer and researcher with an interest in the social history of the First World War. Andrea has written a number of books, including British Widows of the First World War- the Forgotten Legion and Deserters on the Home Front – the First World War. She is also currently Book Reviews Editor for the Western Front Association. Andrea is an experienced speaker both in person and online. She enjoys helping people frame their own family history in a wider historical context and tries to tailor all talks to the venue, including local stories wherever possible.
