Tony Bostock
Tony is a local Cheshire speaker who lives in Winsford and presents talks on a variety of topic relating to local and family history, Domesday and Medieval Cheshire, Salt making, Cheshire churches, Genealogy & Heraldry. As well as being a member of a number of academic societies in the region, Tony completed two three-year terms as chair of the Cheshire Local History Association and was a member of its Executive Committee since its inception and remained so for many years. He was also chairman of the Winsford & District History Society for several years. During the 1990s Tony wrote and edited a short series of the Winsford History Society’s publications: The Winsford Record, and has also served as chairman of the Northwich Heritage Society, again for many years.
