Demolition techniques for brickwalls

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A MORNING MEETING NOT AN EVENING ONE!

This month's meeting takes a different format to usual.  Sheila Jones will outline some of the common problems encountered in our research which create 'brickwalls' and how these may be tackled.  Attendees are then invited to bring details of some of their own 'brickwalls' in the hope that others can make suggestions either from their own experience or else by applying some lateral thinking and applying a different set of eyes to the problem.

Housing the Workforce in Countryside and Town

Elizabeth Davey will be covering the different ways in which Wirral’s workforce was accommodated, from the building of Birkenhead’s Dock Cottages in the 1840s to the provision of architect designed properties like those of Bromborough Pool and Port Sunlight or later still those of the first phase of the Woodchurch Estate.
